The GLOBO OIL range has been created by sustituting and developing all the important elements of the shock absorber - as it can be seen from the drawing to the side - with redesigned, top quality components that can withstand the heavy-duty setting required by the shock absorber in order to make all vehicles, and especially older ones, stable, level and safe..

The heavy-duty setting of +30% allows the vehicle to regain the stability lost due to the wear that all lhe suspenslon parts suffer in their daily use along all sorts of different roads.

The use of environment-friendly oils with a high viscosity index, tested under the severest of conditions in races, improves the duration and constancy of GLOBE shock absorber performance.

ITAM also produces THE GLOBO GAS for all vehicles which originally use the most important elements of the shock absorber - as shown in the drawing to the side. Thanks to a heavy-duty setting of +30%, while complying with the original calibration parameters of the vehicle, the double effect of the shock absorber is proved at the same time as keeping the braking effect (dynamic spring - back) constant.

Effective control of the nitrogen gas pressure also results in the levelling and ride control as well as the comfort that all new generation vehicles aim at. A special modification in the gas seal allows perfect performance under all condition, ensuring silence and efficiency even in those vehicles with many miles behind them.

The shock absorber is a hydraulic or hydropneumatic mechanism whose function is to reduce to the oscillations and the elastic vibrations of the systems of the suspension (means, torsion bars, crossbows etc.) In order to understand its operation we say that the body of a vehicle this suspended by the elastic elements, being these to the nexus between the mass suspended (bodywork, engine, seats, passengers, etc.) and the mass not suspended, (axes, tires, etc).These elastic elements are deformable and its lift force is defined by its rigidity, however, when this act is necessary aplication of a reducing element that allows to limit the amplitude and frequency of the movements produced between the suspended mass and not suspended product of these average elastics, and this element is shock absorber. The cushioning is a fundamental piece in these complex dynamics systems, to offer to the users the greater possible security maintaining a great comfort.
